General Knowledge on “Fire Damper”

Main Usage
(1) usually was turned on, when a fire in the exhaust pipe when the flue gas temperature reaches 280 degrees off, and to meet the leakage amount of smoke and fire integrity requirements within a certain period of time, from the effects of smoke fire retardant
(2) allows the valve is closed by DC24V power; (electric type smoke damper)
(3) manually shut down or manual reset;
(4) closed DC24V electric reset; (automatic type smoke damper for local inconvenience manually operated)
(4) the output signal of the valve is closed, interlocked with other fire-fighting equipment.

Function:
2.1 Fire Damper function normally open as follows:
2.1.1 usually was normally open state, when the fire broke out, after DC24V power output by the control center, the valve automatically closes.
2.1.2 When the pipe temperature reaches 280 ℃, fuse action, the valve automatically closes.
2.1.3 Output signal the valve is closed, interlocking exhaust fan stops.
2.1.4 manually shut down, manually open.
2.2 normally closed smoke damper, the following functions:
Normally closed smoke damper, also known as secondary smoke damper action.
2.2.1 usually was normally closed when the fire broke out, by the control center DC24V power input, quickly open the valve.
2.2.2 Output valve open signal, interlock control fire exhaust fan.
2.2.3 manually open, manual reset closed.
2.2.4 When the pipe temperature reaches 280 ℃, fuse action, the valve is closed again.
2.3 Remote control type smoke damper (rope-controlled) function as follows:
2.3.1 has a normally closed type smoke damper all the features
2.3.2 can be remotely opened manually, manual reset closed.
2.3.3 Rope control distance standard 6m (long can be customized)
2.4 automatic reset type smoke damper function as follows:
2.4.1 usually was normally closed when the fire broke out, by the control center DC24V power input, the valve automatically opens.
2.4.2 When the pipe temperature reaches 280 ℃, the fuse action, the valve automatically closes.
2.4.3 can be manually opened.
2.4.4 After the valve is opened, without manual reset, simply enter DC24V power, the valve can be automatically reset to its original closed position (this function is limited to the first temperature sensor is not operating, such as temperature and motion sensors need to be replaced after the temperature sensor can still use this feature).
2.4.5 Output valve open signal, interlock control exhaust fan start and stop.
2.4.6 If memory alloy temperature sensors, can be used repeatedly without replacement.

Functions and Features:
1. DC24V input signals, current ≤0.5A, solenoid action, quickly close the valve; (electric type smoke damper).
2, manually shut down, manual reset.
3, the output signal and the interlock valve control signal is turned on.
