Electronic expansion valves are designed for use in air conditioning and refrigeration systems or in heat pumps.The valve controls the automatic adjustment of refrigerant flow rate and makes the system work under optimized conditions for the purpose of fast cooling or heating, precisetemperature control and energy saving. The valve can also be used e.g. for suction line pressure controls.These valves provide bidirectional operation to control the refrigerant flow rate in heating or cooling mode.

Series O Electronic Expansion Valve (EXV) is mainly composed of valve body and coil. The controller in the air conditioning system can control the step motor of EXV to synchronize the turning of geartrain which convert the rotation of gears to a pull/push force and mover the valve pin axially which can change the flow area and flow of refrigerant accordingly.

Function of Series Q EXV: The controller sends pulse signal to the coil which controls the rotor synchronizing the turning of feed screw and nut, converting the rotation to movement of valve pin. Thus the flow area and flow of refrigerant will be changed accordingly. The stopper controls the stroke of valve pin within 0<->500P by slide rings.

2 Inquires to Electronic expansion valve DPF-T / Ts / S series

  1. Hi,

    I am looking at the series R valve, for a domestic hot water heat pump application. The documentation indicates that flow should be from A to B in heating, but I am unable to identify which port is A and which is B. Please could you confirm the port numbering and perhaps provide a schematic of a recomended install?
