Copper U Bend

Copper U bend is made of TP2 copper,which is the English abbreviation of phosphorus deoxidized copper (red copper). It is a melting high-purity raw material, which can be processed and used in a reducing atmosphere, but not suitable for processing and use in an oxidizing atmosphere. Commonly used in gasoline or gas delivery pipes, drain pipes, condenser pipes, mine pipes, condensers, evaporators, heat exchangers, train box parts. TP2 can be processed and used in a reducing atmosphere, but should not be processed and used in an oxidizing atmosphere. The residual phosphorus content of TP1 is less than that of TP2, so its electrical and thermal conductivity is higher than that of TP2. TP1 and TP2 are mainly used in tube applications, but can also be supplied in plates, strips or rods and wires. Used as gasoline or gas delivery pipes, drain pipes, condenser pipes, mine pipes, condensers, evaporators, heat exchangers, train box parts.

Phosphorus deoxidized copper used in copper U bend is a melting high-purity raw material, and the oxygen generated in the molten copper is deoxidized with oxophilic phosphorus (P) to reduce the oxygen content to below 100PPm, thereby improving its ductility, corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity, Weldability, drawing workability, and no hydrogen embrittlement at high temperatures. Phosphorus deoxidized copper can be used for various purposes such as refrigeration and air conditioning, heat exchangers, radiators, and cylinder head gaskets.

Common sense

The annealing of the copper tube is vacuum annealing, the temperature is 480-520, and the temperature is kept for 2-3 hours. Yes, the actual manufacturers do not do this, relying on the deformation coefficient of the drawn tube after annealing to ensure the soft and hard requirements); the drawn copper tube is in the Y state and does not need annealing.
